Hindu Chauvinism stands where it was 1000 years ago
My experience is India is teaching a lot of lies to her
students. I recently asked some schools students of 10+1 as to which country
is great in terms of progress in science and technology. Answer is 'India'.
When I ask how then there is silence. When I ask which country is greatest.
The answer is India. Why? "Because people of various shades live here." I
would say but they don’t live cordially. The student becomes silent.
I talked to a responsible teacher. He says this is necessary so that
students takes pride in being Indian.
There are many Hindus like Swami Dayanand Sarswati who believe that whole
scientific knowledge of the universe already stands discovered in Vedas and
the West just stole it away.
I believe it amounts to suicide because one day this myth will explode and
then the man would hate his country and establishment.
It is for this chauvinism that India is left behind and I believe the
Pakistan's Islam also failed to eradicate those genes of chauvinism and they
are very much like their Hindu brothers.
Why to compare with the West, today India is lagging much behind compared
with Asian countries also; Thailand, Korea, Malaysia and China have much
more advanced. Only chauvinistic nations can afford to spend more on Army
than on bread/education/health.
What surprises me is this false self pride was almost at the same magnitude
a thousand years ago when Al Biruni visited India with Mehmood Gazni
(999-1030AD) Biruni wrote a very factual account of Hindus.
I have scanned only 4 pages from Al Biruni's Kitab ul Hind (India)
translated by Dr. Edward C. Sachau (National Book Trust Delhi) and reproduce
them in image form. I am surprised what Biruni said a thousand years ago is
relevant even today. We haven't changed.
In case these pages don't appear with the email the same can be seen at

Reading Biruni please always keep in mind that this account is 1000 years
old. He reports about us:-
· They fight with words never stake their property on religious controversy.
· They call us Maleccha
· Hindu hatred against foreigners increased with the conquest of Mohd Qasam
over Sindh and fall of Mulasthana (Multan)
· Scared of us they have shifted away centres of learning (from Punjab to
Kashmir, UP)
· Hindus believe there is no country like theirs, no religion like theirs,
NO SCIENCE LIKE THEIRS...
· Their haughtiness is such that if you tell them that there is a scholar in
Khurasan or Persia (also) they will think you are a liar.
· But when they are exposed to the other nations they would soon change
their mind and say their ancestors were not as narrow minded as the present
generation is.
· Biruni on collecting books and knowledge.
· Hindus and science.
