SHASHI KANT IS NOT ONLY DRAMATIST, HE IS A WORST COWARD

Ex-man of Indian secret agencies this police officer is shedding crocodile tears on the wide prevalence of drugs in Punjab. He claims he knows 10 names of such politicians and police officers who are giving protection to the drug dealers. On several occasions now for the last 2 years he has being claiming that he would reveal names of such leaders and officers. We call him dramatist because he publicly claims that he is ready to go to jail for the noble cause of freedom of Punjab youth. But if he is ready for this sacrifice why he not revealing names, why he is so scared of jail for violation of secrecy act? The fact is he is a dramatist and has no sympathy for Punjab youth. We are surprised how media is thrilled over the statements of this dramatist. This ex-cop is also hiding the state or area to which he originally belongs to. In Punjabi parlance there is a beautiful word for such people: FUKRA the hypocrite.

Also succefully implemented a record number of welare activities including improving medical fecilities and getting sanctioned a 30 bedded state of art hospital for the campus. P.A.P. campus roads were recarpetted and new street lighting system installed. New vocational and carrier guidance systems were started. New buildings were also added besides setting up of an astro turf.The narration can go on, but i would like ot sum up saying that in none of these ventures, even a single paisa of the jawan's money or private funds was used. These works were got executed with the help of the governments, Jalandhar Improvement Trust and various N.G.Os.

 The Punjab prisons were in a total mess when I took over around Nov. 2011. There were serious security problems, drug addiction and smuggling thereof. The factories were not working. There were possible cases of HIV+ and AIDS as also sexual abuse. I took up the task of total revamping of prison management and policy system after studying the behavioral and related aspects of prisoners and then brought about suitable structural reforms required for their reforms as also rehabilitation even after the release from prisons.

      I took up the cause of drug addiction within the prisons as also outside with all my vigor which did create ripples in the society. Task of total cutting off the supply of drugs within the prisons was undertaken and drug de-addiction amongst inmates started with the help of the Punjab Health Department, NACO, UNODC and other organization with excellent and commendable results. This task started from the Kapurthala prison house where riots had taken place in the month of Novenber following the death of an inmate, possibly because of the serious "withdrawl symptoms". Though the rioting and the attempt to break open the jail were contained well in time but the behavior of the inmates under the influence of psychotropic drugs looted from the 30 bedded prison hospital  and the ten bedded de-addiction center located with in the prison, shook up my conscience. That was the time when i decided to take up the fight against the drugs, drug smugglers and to work for de-addiction, not only with in the prisons but even out side. Unfortunately it is the free avaiability of drugs in the open society which leads to addiction, to petty crimes like snatchings and thefts and robberies etc; and then to the prisons and attempts to smuggle the drugs into the jails. The state of affairs in the prisons on this count is alarming and i will write about it at lenth in my blog very soon.

      Now de-addiction centres are being opened in all eight central jails of Punjab and the issue of drug abuse has caught public awareness. Raising of this issue also led to my recieving serious threats of life against me and my family and they have increased now after my retirement. this is because i had smashed the drug mafia in the jails and put all drug lords in the hight securty jails. About 125 drug smuggling inmates wre shifted to different jails and about 95 of the prison officials suspected of helping the smuggling activities were also reshuffled. I  also informed the H'ble Punjab and Haryana Highcourt about all this so that my steps could not be negated after my retirement. I MAY DIE OR LIVE BUT MY FIGHT AGAINST THE DRUGS WILL CONTINUE TILL MY LAST BREATH.

 Prisons administration was started on co-operative basis with inmates managing their own kitchen, Co-operative stores, Health, Hygiene, Sports, Maintenance of places of worship inside the jails, Libraries and Gyms etc. Several vocational courses were also started. Games were given top most attention with the first ever jail Olympics being organized. Classes of Yoga, Art of living, Health Check-ups were also started with the help from NGOs etc.

MANN AVOIDS TALK ON BASICS OF KHALISTAN

S.S. Mann deliberately presents a ridiculous image of Khalistan to create a sense of hatred for it. He speaks fanaticism. Whereas Khalistan is a concept of love and harmony. He deliberately avoids basic principles which support the concept like, how the Sikhs are a fully qualified nation, how Khalistan is spiritually sanctioned, how its territory has been defined, how it was a historic reality, how it was averted in 1947, how the present circumstances compel Sikhs to peacefully struggle for it. Mann needs to be told that Khalistan is much more than a 'Buffer State'.

ਆਪਾਂ ਸਭ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਇਕ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੀ। ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਕਦੀ ਦੰਗੇ ਨਹੀ ਸਨ ਹੋਏ। ਹੋਰ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅੱਜ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਮਨੁਖੀ ਹਕੂਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪਾਠਕ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ ਦਿਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਹਿਣਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਨਮੂਨਾਂ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕੱਟੜਵਾਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਜਾਣ ਬੁਝ ਕੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਕਿਵੇਂ:
1.SIKHS A FULLY QUALIFIED NATION -    ਕਿਵੇਂ 'ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ' ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਜਾਂ ਕੌਮ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਖਰੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਤੇ ਵਖਰਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ, ਵਖਰਾ ਇਲਾਕਾ, ਵਖਰਾ ਮਜ਼੍ਹਬ ਤੇ ਵਖਰਾ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਹੈ।ਇਕ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਨੇ ਬੜੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਗਲ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ 'ਕੌਮ' ਨਹੀ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨਵੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਘੜਨੀ ਪਊ, ਡਿਕਸ਼ਨਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਉ। ਦੂਸਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਯੂ ਐਨ ਓ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਖਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਸਵਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੈ।
2. SPIRITUAL SANCTION OF KHALISTAN    ਕਿਵੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਆਪ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਜਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਵੇ 'ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ' ਦਾ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੁਭਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਬਾਦ ਗਾਉਦੇਂ ਹਨ।

4.A REALITY IN PAST    ਕਿਵੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਬੀਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸਭਿਆਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਬਕ ਸਿੱਖੇ।
5. AVERTED IN 1947- ਕਿਵੇ ਇਹ 1947 'ਚ ਬਣਦਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰਸ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਪਛਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਧਿਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਨ । ਪਰ ਭੋਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਲੀਡਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਲੀਡਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
6. TERRITORY OF KHALISTAN DEFINED:-    ਕਿਵੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ-ਬੰਦੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।1947 ਤੋ ਲੈ ਕੇ 1966 ਤਕ ਲੰਮੇ ਚਲੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਖੁੱਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਉਲੀਕ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋ ਅਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਮੰਗਿਆਂ ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਹੱਦ ਬੰਦੀ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ। ਪਰ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਣ ਬੁਝ ਕੇ ਮਖੌਲ ਖਾਤਰ ਗਵਾਂਢੀ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਖਾਉਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤ ਅਧੀਨ ਲਹੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਸਦਾ ਹੈ।

IMMEDIATE REASONS (NECESSITATED BY DESTRUCTIVE PLANS OF CONGRESS)-    ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਲੀਆਮੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਤੁਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਥੋ ਦੇ ਦਰਿਆਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ ਹਨ। ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਗਵਾਂਢੀ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਆਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ। ਕਿਵੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਨਕਲ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕਿਵੇ ਖੁਦ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਰਤਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕਿਵੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਬੲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਨਿਯੋਜਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪੇਗੰਡੇ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਵੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਵੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ 6% ਘਟਿਆ ਹੈ।ਕਿਵੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਪਤਕਾਰੀ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਵੇ ਇਥੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਖਰੇਵਾਂ ਪਾਉਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਕਿਵੇਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਹੈ। ਪਾਠਕ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਹੋਈ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ 3 ਸਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੁੰਮਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਤਕ ਹਲਫ ਨਹੀ ਲੈਣ ਦਿਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਆਦਿ ਆਦਿ।
ਇਹ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਇਕ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਫਤਾਂ ਪਰ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤਾਂ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗਲ ਹਾਸੋਹੀਣੀ ਲਗੇ।
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਮੀ ਉਮਰ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ। ਪਰ ਯਾਦ ਰਖਣ ਮਾਇਆ ਛਾਇਆ ਸਭ ਇਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਣੀ ਹੈ ਅਗੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਾਂ ਹੈ। ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਖੱਫਣ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਹਝਾ ਨਹੀ ਲਗਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਅਸੀ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁਛਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ ਲੋਕ ਸੱਚ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਪਰ ਭੋਲੀ ਕੌਮ ਹੈ। ਦੁੱਖ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਹੀ ਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ।

ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਾਠਕੋ, ਤੁਸੀ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹਨ। ਨਹੀ, ਤੁਸੀ ਗਲਤ ਹੋ। ਦਰ ਅਸਲ, ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸੈਫਟੀ ਵਾਲਵ (ਫਿਊਜ) ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਅੰਤਰ-ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ  ਹਨ, ਓਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਖੁੱਦ ਅਸੀ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਸਮਝ ਬੈਠੇ ਸੀ।
ਲਓ, ਹੁਣ ਸਮਝੋ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਕਿਓ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ।
ਤੁਸੀ ਸਭ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੰ. ਇਕ ਗਿਣਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ 2-3 ਜੰਗ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਹੋਇਆ ਕੁਝ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਿਛੇ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਨੇੜਤਾ ਦੀ ਖੂਬ ਗਲ ਚਲਾਈ। ਓਥੇ ਫਿਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਇਦਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਪ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ। ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਵਪਾਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ।

ਦਸੰਬਰ 2013 ਦੇ ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਆਇਆ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਿਆ। ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਜਾਤੀ ਉਮਰਾ ਵੀ ਗਿਆ। ਨਾਲੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਖਾਨੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੇ। ਉਹ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਇਓ ਘੁਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇੜਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਸ਼ਹਿਬਾਜ ਸ਼ਰੀਫ ਦਾ ਵਾਹਵਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਚਲਿਆ। ਸਾਡਾ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਮੂਹ ਨੱਕ ਵੱਟ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਆਖਿਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਨੀਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਹਿਕਮਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ। ਬਾਦਲ ਕੌਣ ਹਨ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਨੇੜਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ?
ਸੋ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਤਕ ਇਹ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਪਾਕਿਸਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਨੇੜਤਾ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸੁਚੇਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ। ਅਲੱਰਟ ਕੀਤਾ।  ਪਰ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਲੀਡਰ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਨਹੀ ਲਿਆ।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਭੋਲੇ ਹਨ ਐਨ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਹਨ । ਦੋ ਕੁ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਇਕੱਠ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫਗਵਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਕੱਟੜ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਪਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕੇ ਰਖਿਆ। ਮਜੇ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕੱਟੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ "ਤੁਸੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਖਬਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਜਾਹਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣਾਂ ਸੀ" ਤਰੀਕੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਨਹੀ ਬਣਦਾ।
ਬਾਕੀ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਪਤਾ ਉਹ ਨੋਟ ਕਰ ਲਓ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਵੇਰਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲੋ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਭਾਵ ਭਾਰਤ ਰਤਨ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਭੋਲੇ ਹੁਣ ਸੋਚ ਲੈਣ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ?
22 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2013 ਨੂੰ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਉਣਾ ਸੀ।ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੱਦਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ " ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਖੁੱਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਣ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਹਨ?" ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੜਫੇ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਉਪ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੋਲ ਗਰਿਹ ਮਹਿਕਮਾ ਹੈ ੳੇੁਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਿਥੇ ਖੜੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਰ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਾਦਲ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਵੀ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਵਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਨਹੀ ਹਨ।
ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ 1989 ਵਿਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੇਲ ਵਿਚ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਤਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਹਿ ਤੇ ਅੜੇ ਰਹੇ ਤੇ ਪਾਰਲੀਮੈਂਟ ਵਿਚ 3 ਫੁਟ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ। ਫਿਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਕੀਮਤ ਮੰਗੀ ਤਾਂ 1999 ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ ਜਿਤ ਗਏ। ਫਿਰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਗਾਹੇ ਬਿਗਾਹੈ ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਰ ਰਸੂਖ ਵਰਤ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ 2007 ਵਿਚ ਬੀਬੀ ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀ ਕਾਂਤਾ ਚਾਵਲਾ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਕ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਲੀਡਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਗਾਵਤ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿਤੀ ਸੀ। 2004 ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਓਦੋਂ ਇਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਮੂਵਾਲੀਏ ਨਾਲ ਚੋਣ ਗੰਡ-ਤੁਪ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਰਾਮੂਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਨੰਗਾ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਸਮਝਣ ਦਾ ਅਸੀ ਖੁੱਦ ਵੀ ਖਮਿਆਜਾ ਭੁਗਤਿਆ ਹੈ। ਗਲ ਸੰਨ 2000 ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਡਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਸੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋਢੀ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈਣ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੰਮਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਟਰਕਾਈ ਰਖਿਆ। ਤੇ ਅਖੀਰ ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲਗ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਵਡਾਲਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਅਜ ਤਕ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ।
ਧਿਆਨ ਰਹੇ ਅੱਜ ਪੂਰੀ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਗਵਾਹ ਕਰ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਝਵਾਨ ਲੀਡਰ ਨਹੀ ਉਭਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਜੈਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਸੂਖ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਪਰਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੁਰਛਾਗਿਰਦੀ ਹਾਵੀ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੀ ਤੌਹੀਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੂਝਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਰੋਲ ਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ।ਉਲਟਾ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਸਿਖੀ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਜੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਤੌਹੀਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਤਨੇਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਾ ਅਫਗਾਨਾ, ਇੰਦਰ ਘੱਘਾ, ਧੂੰਦਾ, ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਗੀ, ਗੁਰਬਚਨ ਜਿਊਣਵਾਲੇ ਆਦਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦਾ ਮਜਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਦੀ ਨਹੀ ਬੋਲੇ।
ਹੋਰ ਦੇਖੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਿਊਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ 6% ਘਟ ਜਾਣਾਂ, ਸ਼ਰਮੋਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜਰਅੰਦਾਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕਬਜਾ ਕਰਨਾਂ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਦੀ ਹਿਜਰਤ ਜਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣਾਂ, ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੱਖਪਾਤੀ ਵੰਡ ਜਿਸ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਤਕਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੇ ਧੁਰੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਤਕਰੇ, ਲੋਹਗੜ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਚੁਪ ਚੁਪੀਤੇ ਢਾਹੇ ਜਾਣਾ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਜੈਸੀਆਂ ਵਲੋ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਫੇੜ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਕਰਨਾਂ  ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸ਼ੂ ਹਨ ਇਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹਿਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਫਿਰ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਜ ਕਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਲੁਟ ਤੇ ਕਦੀ ਨਹੀ ਬੋਲਦੇ। ਉਂਜ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਨਾਂ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋ ਇਹ ਮਸਲਾ ਗਰਮ ਸੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਦੇ ਹਨ ਏਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਾਦਲ ਤੇ ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ ਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
2005 ਦੀ ਗਲ ਹੈ ਚੌਕ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਸੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਸੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਗਲਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਇਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਮਾਉਣ ਖਾਤਰ ਮੁਖਬਰਾਂ ਬਾਬਤ ਬੋਲ ਦਿਤਾ। ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਮੋਹਕਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹੁਣ ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿ ਟਾਊਟ ਕੌਣ ਕੌਣ ਹਨ। ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਓਥੋਂ ਕੰਨ ਲਵੇਟ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਆਏ। ਮੋਹਕਮ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਕਹੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹੁਣ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਜਾਓ। ਰੁਕੋ, ਰੁਕੋ।
ਸੋ ਵੀਰੋ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਸੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਖੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਾਦਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਰੀ ਪਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਚੁਕੰਨੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ।
ਹਾਂ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਜਰੂਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਚਾ ਲਈ, ਆਪਣੀ ਬੁੱਕਲ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ।

ਅਗੇ ਪੜੋ ਮਾਨ ਕਿਵੇ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਬਾਬਤ ਚੁੱਪ ਰਹਿਦਾ ਹੈ।

MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL 2014. NAME OR PRAISES TO GOD IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS

May Guru Nanak bless you all happiness during 2014. Friends I am 63 now. Believe me the day I went in the protection of Guru, I have experienced metamorphosis in my life. My 2013 was wonderful. I know it was all because of Japuji. Believe me at the feet of Guru we experience miracles. 

During my youthful days I had become an atheist, was therefore extremely ambitious. I spoiled my prime age of youth searching the mirage of happiness. Gurbani has now laid bare before me the secret of happiness the secret of high spirited life.

Because says Guru Nanak:

Those of who are blessed to say praises of God

Become the kings of the kings

 So friends never forget your limitations and the infinite powers of God almighty. Remember His praises, glorification is the name or Naam Guru Nanak often refers to. So remain attuned to it.

May God bring limitless happiness in your life during 2014 but remember JAPUJI  of Guru Nanak is the key.

WHEN CONGRESS DECIDED TO CONSTITUTE KHALISTAN WITH 2 DISTRICTS

RETREAT TO BEAS. LET AMRITSAR GO TO HELL

-were the orders Gen. Harbakhsh Singh received from Delhi during 1965 war with Pakistan. A soldier has to be obedient but he can't be a mute spectator to the rape of his motherland.  Gen. Harbakhsh Singh the great son of Guru Gobind Singh who had once said, "One Sikh enough for a Million," flately refused to obey orders which meant plunder of his holy land. Harbakhsh led the whole of Western Command of Indian Army from Gujrat to J&K always moving like a whirlwind reaching right upto the last soldier on the front mostly flying by Halwara aerodrome to safer station like Agra. Which ever sector sought permission to retreat, Harbakhsh was there the next moment and every where the miracle happened. Instead of the  retreat the men would advance. Finally he brought the overall unexpected victory.

The reward  was denial of promotion because Indira Gandhi used her veto against the recommendations of the promotion committee. Delhi could be ungrateful to this great soldier but we Punjabis are not.

He was the general to shed tears on the shifting of Sikh Regimental Centre from Meerut to far away in Bihar.

Finally Indira had to herself launch an offensive on Temple through one mean general named Kuldip Singh Brar. ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਜੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੋ ਜਿਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਲਿਸਤਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਇਕ ਵੇਰਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜੀ ਹਾਂ।

ਜਨਰਲ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਕੀਮ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਿਤੀ। ਹੋਇਆ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਕਿ 1965 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਦਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਸੀ।ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲੀਓ ਹੁਕਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਪੁਰ ਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜਿਲੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਿਆਸ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ  ਪਿਛੇ ਤਕ ਹੱਟ ਜਾਵੇ। ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਫੌਜ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੁਟ ਮਾਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਹਰਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਬੇ ਅਦਬੀ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਕਿਉਕਿ 1947 ਵੇਲੇ ਦੋਵੇ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਖਹਿ ਕੇ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਫੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛੇ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਬਿਜਾਏ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਗੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਲ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ। 1965 ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਭਾਰਤ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਪਰ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿਤਾ।

ਫਿਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੋਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਰੋਕ ਦਿਤੀ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਕੀਮ ਚੌਪਟ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਸੀ। ਖੈਰ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗੰਢੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ।ਭਾਵ ਜਨਰਲ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾੜ।

ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਜਮੈਂਟ ਸੈਟਰ ਮੇਰਠ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਮਗੜ ਵਿਖੇ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਹੱਥ ਪੈਰ ਮਾਰੇ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਆ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੋ ਵਖਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੇ।

ਪੜੋ ਹਰਬਖਸ਼ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਇਕ ਪੰਨੇ ਪਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜੀ ਵਿਚ ਨੇ।

DOES FAST UNTO DEATH VIOLATE SIKH CODE?

ਕੀ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਰਖਣਾ ਗੁਰਮੱਤ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ?

This writer has not only unflinching faith in Sri Akal Takhat rather we are dedicated to it. Recently the Jathedar of Akal Takhat has on two three occasions stated that fast unto death is not in accordance with Sikh code of conduct. We feel have every right to differ with him because what Jathedar sahib stated was his personal opinion and it was not promulgation from Akal Takhat. Remember 'hukamnama'  or notification is issued duly after 'Gurmata' the resolution of Five Singh Sahiban.
Clarification on this issue becomes absolutely necessary because this can lead to misunderstanding among the Sikh masses that violence is the only remedy to seek redressal of some grievance.
Remember the Tenth Guru has fortunately bestowed us the basic concept when he quoted Sheikh Saadi  on this. He says “When injustice goes too far and all other means have been exhausted it is righteous to draw the sword”
"Chu kar az hama heelt e dar guzshat,: Halal ast burdan ba shamsheer dast."
Let us now examine the Sikh practices through history;

It often goes in house holds that an angry member would shun food as a protest and the head of family would finally agree.

Sikhs have been using different means for resolution of injustices or make the other party agree to their demands.However when Sajjan the Cheat attacked Guru, Guru could have used sword but he preferred dialogue and finally won and changed the cheat to a believer.
There was occasion when Emperor Hamayu attacked the 2nd Nanak. There again the Guru preferred dialogue and finally the emperor was humbled and felt ashamed.
When 5th Nanak was summoned to Lahore he didn't take out sword rather volunteered to embrace death.
The 9th Nanak who was Master of Sword 'Teg Bahadur' never took it out and embraced death peacefully.
The 6th and 10th Nanak did retaliate with sword when other peaceful means were exhausted.  But again resorted to dialogue after making the tyrant realise.
Once Bhai Ladha blackened his face and rode a donkey and moved around Amritsar streets and he had it.

Guru Nanak started throwing water on the opposite direction to convince the Pandas.
The issue is to convince the opponent of the legitimacy of the demand.
Hunger strike is thus a tool to prick the conscience of the wrong doer to change his course. Because it is being used in our families it is thus  natural mode of redressing of grievance. Since Sikhism is a faith of 'Razaa' the will, 'Hunger Strike is therefore very much within the Sikh code of conduct.
Also there is history to that also. Master Tara Singh and Fateh Singh both chiefs of Akali Dal resorted to hunger strike in the sixties. Unfortunately both of these exhibited cowardice and finally ran away. It was for this reason Darshan Singh Pheruman exhibited magnanimity of a hunger strike when he lived 74 long days of hunger to finally kiss the goddess of death.
Such non-violent protests have there been during the Gurdwara Reform movement also.
Thus the Jathedar's advice to Bibi Nirpreet Kaur of Delhi and Bhai Gurbax Singh of Amb Sahib, Mohali that hunger strike is not an approved mode of seeking resolution of grievance accordance to Sikh Code of Conduct. Rather it is an ideal means. We are sure the Jathedar was under some coercion or compulsion to say so.
We know Sikh institutions of passing through tough times. For three years now the apex Sikh body SGPC has not been allowed to work democratically when the elected members have not been allowed to take oath and work.
The concept of Akal Takhat has always been an eye sore for the present Delhi Govt, it is thus the tough conditions under which the Jathedar is performing. This is a fit example of razor edge walking indeed. However the skilled Jathedars have been able to maintain equilibrium.
Narinder Singh Bhuler the ex-Dictator of Punjabi Suba movement once wrote that Prof. Darshn Singh Ragi holds the dubious distinction of starting  misuse of Akal Takhat concept. Giani Puran Singh (of Luv/Kush fame) was second.
It often happens that the opponent wants us to sit and the sycophants  straight away lays down. Decorum of the office is thus damaged.
Civilised Govts function as parents of the masses and every nation has its own standard on this count. It was for this reason the practice of Hunger Strike started during the British Raj. Because they were prompt to take notice of it. That is the national character of the British.
However the present Hindu ruler does not care hunger strike if it undertaken by some member of minority. Unfortunately this is the reason that members of minority community often resort to violence to seek resolution of their grievances.
The selfish politicians of Delhi have been encouraging violence because they feel harassed with political and democratic non—violent demands. They fully know that when some movement becomes violent he has police and armed forces to deal with it. Thus he feels comfortable with violence and secondly when he curbs violence through armed forces the majority community overwhelmingly votes for him.
It is for this reason that India has a long tale of Pherumans who lost their lives in hunger strikes. So much so a Irom Sharmila a woman from Manipur state is on hunger strike for the last 14 years. She is being fed through her nostril only.
Notwithstanding this we feel hunger strike is still the best mode. At least the tyrant ruler gets exposed in the minds of minority.
Yes of course, the undertaking painful means to attain God is not approved in Sikhism.
Therefore hunger Strike is rather an ideal way to get resolution of grievance according to Sikh code of conduct. It is the best way to prick one's conscience. Secondly it becomes all the more ideal when it is being undertaken for the good of others.
Remember Sikh concept is perfectly in tune with changing times. What is important is that Guru bestows us the understanding of the formula called gurmat. Says Gurbani
"sahib mera neet nava sada sada dataar." My master is ever fresh…
Notwithstanding all this, we will not resort to any argument with Jathedar sahib. If it is felt that our explanation  or interpretation is not adequate, we will simply bow before him.  Concept of Akal Takhat is our heart and soul.

ਇਸ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮੇ ਤੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਤ ਗਿਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਿਛੇ ਦੋ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ  ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਗੁਰਬਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ।ਇਹ ਗਲ ਓਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕਹੀ ਸੀ ਨਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਕਿ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਬਕਾਇਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਟਿਪਣੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਦਾਸ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੁਛ ਰਾਇ ਕੁਝ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗਲ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਨਾਲ ਕੌਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਡੀ ਗਲਤਫਹਿਮੀ ਘਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ  ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀ ਜਾਂ ਜੁਲਮ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ (ਜਾਂ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਜਾਂ ਹਿੰਸਾ) ਹੀ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਸਾਧਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਦੇਣਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਬਾਬਤ ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਫਰਨਾਮੇ ਵਿਚ ਬੜੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੌਮ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਹੀ ਉਲੀਕ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਸ਼ੇਖ ਸਾਅਦੀ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਦੁਹਰਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਆਖਰੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ:-
"ਚੂ ਕਾਰ ਅਜ਼ ਹਮਾ ਹੀਲਤੇ ਦਰ ਗੁਜ਼ਸਤ॥
ਹਲਾਲ ਅਸਤ ਬੁਰਦਨ ਬਾ ਸ਼ਮਸੀਰ ਦਸਤ॥"
ਭਾਵ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀ ਜਾਂ ਜੁਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਲਣ ਦੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀਲੇ ਵਸੀਲੇ ਵਰਤ ਲਏ ਹੋਣ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਆਖੀਰ ਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈਣਾ ਜਾਇਜ ਹੈ।
ਸੋ ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਸੂਲ।
ਆਓ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਜੁਲਮ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾ ਕੀ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਛੱਡਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਦੇਖੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋ ਬਾਬਰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਝੱਟ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਆਤਮ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਓਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਸਮੱਰਥਾ ਸੀ।
ਸੱਜਣ ਠੱਗ ਦੇ ਜੁਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਲਣ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ, ਹਥਿਆਰ ਚੁੱਕ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਓਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਹੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮਖ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਤਾ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਇਕ ਨਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਮਿਸਾਲਾਂ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਵੇਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਮਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਤਲਕਾਰ ਕੱਢੀ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਉਹਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਅਮਨਪੂਰਬਕ ਤੇ ਠਰੱਮੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਹਮਾਯੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ।
ਫਿਰ ਪੰਚਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨਾਂ ਇਕ ਦਮ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਂ ਕਢੀ, ਨਿਰਾ ਸੀਸ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਦਿਤਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸੀਸ ਦੇਣ ਆਪ ਲਹੌਰ  ਗਏ।
ਨੌਵੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੋ ਖੁੱਦ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਧਨੀ 'ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ' ਸਨ ਓਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜੁਲਮ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਚੁੱਕਣਾਂ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਾਇਜ ਨਾਂ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਤੇ ਸੀਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਤਾ।
ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਵਿਰੋਧਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਕ ਨਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਸੁਨਿਹਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ।
ਫਿਰ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜਾਲਮ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਐਂਵੇ ਗਾਜਰ ਮੂਲੀ ਹੀ ਸਮਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜੁਲਮ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਨਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਕਰਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀਲੇ ਵਸੀਲੇ ਵਰਤਣ ਬਾਦ।
ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਇਜ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਤਰਾਂ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਭਾਈ ਲੱਧਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਸਿਰ ਕਾਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਤੇ ਚੜ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗ ਮਨਵਾ ਲਈ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਹਰਦੁਆਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੁਠੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੁਟਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਗਲ ਮੰਨਵਾ ਲਈ।
ਮਸਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੈ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਟੁੰਬਣਾ, ਭਈ ਤੂ ਗਲਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਵਕਤ ਬੇ ਵਕਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਹੀਲੇ ਵਸੀਲੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਨਰਾਜ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਰੁਸ ਕੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਨਾਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਇਕ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੀਲਾ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਝੰਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਗ ਪਿਛੇ ਕਿਨਾਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਘਰਦਿਆ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਜੀਅ ਦਾ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਂ ਮਰਨਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਜਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹੋ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਜਣ ਦਾ। ਹੜਤਾਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ਜਿਤਾਉਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਿਉਕਿ ਗੁਰਸਿਖੀ ਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਜ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਵਾਲਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਰੁਸਣਾ ਭਾਵ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਫਿਰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖੀਆਂ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਤਾਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੇ ਫਤਿਹ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਸਨ ਰੱਖੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਤੇ ਅਗਨ ਕੁੰਡ ਵੀ ਉਸਾਰ ਲਏ ਸਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗਲ ਦੀ ਬੜੀ ਥੂ ਥੂ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਖੀਰ ਤੇ ਮਰਨੋਂ ਡਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੇਰੂਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਅਦਰਸ਼ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਿਰੜੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਹੈਗੇ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੇ ਨੇ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ 74 ਦਿਨ ਲੰਮੀ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਰਖ ਕੇ 27 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 1969 ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਣਾ ਕਰ ਗਏ।
ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਝੰਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਹਿਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਉਦਾਹਰਣਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੌਮ ਅੱਜ ਫਖਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਬੀਬੀ ਨਿਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਜਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਕਿ ਮਰਨ ਵਰਤ ਰਖਣਾ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਨਹੀ, ਕੁਝ ਪਚਿਆ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸੋਚ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਜ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੌਮ 'ਚ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤਫਹਿਮੀ ਨਾਂ ਉਠੇ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਵੇ ਸ਼ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੁੱਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੁਮਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਲਫ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਨਾਲੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦਾ ਨਿਵੇਕਲਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਤਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਰੋਕਣਾ ਚੁੱਭਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਸੀ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਨਾਜੁਕ ਦੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਅੱਡੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਦਾ ਜੋਰ ਲਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਸਚ ਮੁੱਚ ਖੰਡੇ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਚਲਣ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਸੂਝਵਾਨ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਜੁਕ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਬੈਠਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਉਕਿ ਇਤਹਾਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਖਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਾਫ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਇਸ ਕਾਬਲ ਹਨ।
ਅਜ ਤਕ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੰਤੁਲਨ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਚਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਪਰ ਕਦੀ ਕਦੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਗੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਤਲਬਪ੍ਰਸਥ ਜਾਂ ਹਊਮੇਧਾਰੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸ਼ਖਸ਼ ਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸਵਾਰਥ ਤਹਿਤ ਇਸ ਨਿਵੇਕਲੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਸਿਧ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਡਿਕਟੇਟਰ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁਲੇਰ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦਾ ਦੁਰਉਪਯੋਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਲਵ ਕੁਸ਼ ਦੀ ਓਲਾਦ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਾਰਯਾਦਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਾਣ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਗਲਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਤੇ ਬਹਿ ਜਾਈਏ ਪਰ ਕਈ  ਲੋਕ ਬਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਬਿਜਾਏ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਲੰਮੇ ਹੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਗਰਿਮਾ ਤੇ ਸੱਟ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਖੈਰ ਸਭਿਅਕ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਤਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ਗਿਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹੋ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਗਰੇਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੰਪਰਾ ਪਈ।
ਹਰ ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਰਦਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਗਰੇਜ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਓਹ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਪਰ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਓਦੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਨੇ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਅੰਦਾਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹੋ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਜ ਕਲ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੰਸਾਤਮਕ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਵਰਤਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਕੋਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੇ ਫੌਜ ਹੈਗੀ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਟਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਨੂੰ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ (ਹੈਰੈਸਮੈਂਟ) ਤੋਂ ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਜਾਂ ਫੌਜ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਟਦੀ ਮਾਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤਬਕਾ ਉਨੂੰ ਖੁੱਲ ਕੇ ਵੋਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਦ ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀਆਂ ਅੱਜ ਤਕ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਈਜਾਦ ਨਹੀ ਕਰ ਸਕੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਝੰਜੋੜ ਸਕੇ।
ਸੋ ਭੁੱਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਅਗਲਾ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਨਾਂ ਲਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿਅੱਰਥ ਤੇ ਹਾਸੋ ਹੀਣੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਥੇ ਫੇਰੂਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਜਾਈ ਗਈਆਂ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਦਾਸਤਾਨ ਹੈ। ਪੂਰਬ ਦੇ ਮਨੀਪੁਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਬੀਬੀ ਇਰੋਮ ਸ਼ਰਮੀਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਲੰਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ 14 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀ ਖਾਧਾ। ਸ਼ੁਰੂ 'ਚ ਉਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੱਕ ਰਾਂਹੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਨਾਲੀ ਲਗੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅੱਜ ਤਕ ਚਾਲੂ ਹੈ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਪਾਚਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਅੱਰਥ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗਰੀਬਣੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਜ ਮੰਗ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਹੀ ਮੰਨੀ।
ਹਿੰਦੂਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਧਰਮਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਧੱਬਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਅੰਦੋਲਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੱਕ ਮੰਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਅਮੂਮਨ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਹਿੰਸਾਤਮਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਅਜਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦਾ ਅਸੂਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਭਾਵੇ ਬੱਚ ਜਾਵੇ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਂਚ ਨਹੀ ਆਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
ਅਸੀ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਸੌ ਗੁਣਾ ਬਿਹਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਲਮ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨ ਦਾ ਬੇਨਿਸਾਫੀ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਨੰਗਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਨਤਾ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ 1948 ਤੋਂ 1966 ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੂਬਾ ਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ ਤੇ ਦਰਿਆਈ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ 1982 ਤਕ ਚਲੇ ਸ਼ਾਤਮਈ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ (ਹਰੈਸ) ਕਰ ਰਖਿਆ ਸੀ। 1982 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਚਲੇ ਹਿੰਸਾਤਮਕ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੌਖਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੇ ਫੌਜ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਅਰਾਮ 'ਚ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਸੋ ਕਿਸੇ  ਵੀ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੀਡਰ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਰਖੇ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਟਾਊਟ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਉਂਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਸਾਤਮਕ ਮੋੜਾ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਣ। ਇਹੋ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਅਸੀ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਬਖਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਬੇਨਤੀਆਂ ਲਿਖ  ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਆਲਿਓ ਟਾਊਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਹਟਾ ਦੇਣ ਨਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਫੋਟੋਆਂ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਲ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭੁਖੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਲੱਤ ਤੇ ਖਲੋਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪੁਠੇ ਲਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅੱਗ ਤੇ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰਮਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਦਾਇਕ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਖੰਡਨ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ। ਉਹਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਕੋਲੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਲ ਮਨਾਉਣਾ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੁਲ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਅਸੀ ਫਿਰ ਦੁਹਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਭੁਖ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਝੰਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਭਾਵ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੂਕੂਲ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਹਊਮੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਤੇ ਉੱਠ ਹੜਤਾਲੀ ਦੂਸਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਦਾ ਨਮੂਨਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਣੀ ਹੈ। ' ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਨੀਤ ਨਵਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ॥' ਰੋਜ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਬਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੇ ਫਲਸਫੇ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ।
ਪਰ ਅਸੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਗਲ ਤੇ ਜਿੱਦ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਚਾਹਾਂਗੇ। ਜੇ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੋਚਣ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਾਂ ਸੀਸ ਝੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਗੇ। ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ ਹੈ। -ਦਾਸ ਭਬੀਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੁਰਾਇਆ

Two days ago Baba Ramdev declared that all Congressites are gay. We endorsed his statement giving proof how the Congress political leaders of Punjab are indifferent to the current issues of Punjab. They have no courage to call spade a spade. The issue is release of such prisoners who have completed their sentences in jails. The gay congressites felt that a section of Punjab society might be displeased with their release as such they remained mum all these days. However this LION OF PUNJAB gave a bold statement on the release of such prisoners.

Former Pradesh Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh today asked Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to release Sikh detainees lodged in Punjab jails.

Talking to the media after addressing an impressive gathering in his ancestral village here this afternoon, he claimed that 108 such detainees were lodged in the state jails. He said he would do his bit to ensure the release of these detainees.

“The Badals have supported Gurbaksh Singh’s demand for the release of Sikh detainees. The CM’s son holds the Home portfolio, yet he has done nothing to see these detainees in state jails are freed,” he said.

He said there were 280 Sikh detainees in the state of which 108 were political prisoners. “The Chief Minister can put pressure on other states, especially Rajasthan where the BJP has formed the government. But he will not do so. He has also ignored the plight of Sikh farmers, who may lose their land in Gujarat, where BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is Chief Minister,” Amarinder Singh pointed out. To a query, he said, “Sonia Gandhi asked me in March this year if I was interested in being an MP or in holding a position at the Centre. I told her I would want to work for Punjab alone.”

On an alliance with Manpreet Badal-led People’s Party of Punjab, he said Manpreet was media’s creation and the Congress did not need his support. He claimed the state Congress stood united and would win the coming Lok Sabha elections. Amarinder Singh was in the village for a bhog ceremony. Though leaders owing loyalty to PPCC chief Partap Bajwa, including former MLA Harminder Jassi, a ticket aspirant for the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat, stayed away, a number of sitting and ex- MLAs from Bathinda, Faridkot and Muktsar were present at the rally.

Sitting MLA Ajaib Bhatti drew Amarinder Singh’s attention to the plight of 40 persons in Rampura who had taken ill because of spray of pesticides. Claiming that at least seven affected persons had been killed, he said the CM had promised to give Rs 1 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and bear the expenses of those under treatment. But not a penny had been received so far.

The family of the late Chief Minister Beant Singh today said it would not object to the release of Sikh detainees who had completed their jail term. “For us, peace in the state is most important,” said a family member. Ravneet Bittu, MP, Gurkirat Kotli, MLA, and Gurkanwal Kaur expressed anguish at the ‘inhuman’ treatment meted out to the detainees who have served their terms. Lakhwinder Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Shamsher Singh have been in jail for more than 18 years for their role in Beant Singh’s assassination.
