Since Sikhs are a microscopic minority of India; just 1.5% the Indian administration has been neglecting the mass feelings or public opinion of the SikhS. Here are a few examples. May be the administration enjoyS seductive pleasure out of it when the Sikhs cry for justice.

BEST WAY TO BULK REMOVE INACTIVE FRIENDS FROM YOUR FACE BOOK ACCOUNT

BEST WAY TO BULK REMOVE INACTIVE FRIENDS FROM YOUR FACE BOOK ACCOUNT

I found a Facebook legal way to remove in bulk those unwanted ids.

(At bottom given this text in Punjabi images also)

I had 5000 friends in my list but when ever I scrolled down my friend list I found a large number (about 300) of inactive and deactivated accounts have been occupying my space. The inactive account can be easily identified because the profile photo is missing in such case.
Deactivated I.D/ Inactive ID

Often the inactive ids remain stored throughout the friend list but not in the beginning.
I would therefore try to remove such ids but every time I would remove such an i.d the facebook page would start reloading which takes a long time even with my internet whose speed is quite fast. Every time I was forced to stop because of its being time consuming and tedious task.
I also tried some applications which I found were mostly spamming or spying kind of things.

But I found that Facebook page does not start reloading in the case of labeling a friend id. So I labeled inactive ids as 'Close Friends' and the trick was successful. Because the 'Close Friends' appear in the beginning and I could remove all those very easily. In just 5 minutes I was able to remove about 300 ids.
Those who are not fully conversant with Facebook software here I give step by step tutorial to remove such inactive ids.
1. Click on your name in the Facebook wall.
2. Click 'Friends'
3. Scroll down the friends list. Use auto scroll and leave it for few minutes until you reach the bottom of page.
4. Now start scrolling upwards and where ever you find some inactive i.d point the cursor at "friends" and a small window appears. Here click 'Close Friends'. And the i.ds is now 'star' marked. In this way mark all the inactive i.ds with the 'close friends' and the trick is done.
5. All inactive ids now appear on top of the page but below you close friends.

6. Here you can easily remove 2 ids at a time by pointing the cursor on friends
and then at the bottom of the window appears "unfriend". So click on the unfriend and you are done.

LET US STAND FOR NANAKSHAHI CALENDER

LET US STAND FOR NANAKSHAHI CALENDER

Do you know that the present Bikrami calender (which is applicable in Punjab as far as festival dates are concerned) has some very serious defects:

  • Gurpurabs i.e Guru's days at times fall twice in a year and in some year there is no particular gurpurab at all. Thanks to Bikrami Calender.
  • This year the birthday of Guru Gobind Singh sahib is falling on Dec. 28 i.e when the Sikhs will be mourning the martyrdom of Chhota sahibzadas
  • In the year 2015 there will be no Gurpurab of Tenth Lord.
  • It is such a ridiculous calender that the often months with 32 days occur.
  • Some times the year is of 13 months.
  • Its years are slowly slipping forwards with the result that the Vaisakhi of 1699 fell on March 27 but now a days Vaisakhi comes either on 13, 14 or 15 April.
  • So much after thousands of years the month of Poh which is famous for its winter will fall in the month of May and June. Thus all literature and Gurbani which has reference to seasons will become irrelevant.
  • The present Bikrami calender's year is longer by 20 minutess
In the light of above Pal Singh Purewal of Canada devised a scientific solar calender and the SGPC implemented it in the year 2003 but unfortunately some conservative people had been opposing it. The final blow was given by Dam Dami Taksal when its head Harnam Singh Dhuma agreed to support the Saint Union opposing the new calender. As such an amended Bikrami calender with the misleading name Nanakshahi was imposed. Since the present scenario has embarrassed the Sant Union as such again a demand for Nanakshahi calender has arisen.

We ask the reader to read the facts and support the demand for Nanakshahi calender.
Here are some links giving pros and cons of Nanakshahi Calender:-

++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You will regret to note that the opponents of Nanakshahi calendar are such people who believe  Sikhism an off shoot of Hinduism. Instead of pointing some defect in the new calendar they do maneuvering. Since Sant J.S. Bhinderanwale was a staunch votary of independence of Sikhism, the calendar opponent bought Harnam Singh Dhuma the successor of Sant Bhinderanwale and deputed him to P.S.Badal to oppose the calendar with the plea that the calendar creates rift between Sikhs and Hindus. This shows Sikhs have no right even to rectify any of their systems.

PHOTOS -MUSTAPHA VISITS KARTARPUR

MUSTAPHA VISITS KARTARPUR SAHIB
My Facebook friend from Pakistan has visited Kartarpur sahib the holy shrine where Guru Nanak passed away. Kartarpur is close to Indo-Pakistan borber and is visible from Indian side. Sikhs are demanding a visa-free passage to Kartarpur sahib. Indian Punjab's legislative Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution seeking corridor. The Delhi Govt (as usual) is delaying the approval of corridor.
Mustapha has sent some beautiful photos of Kartarpur which we share with our friends. Mustapha takes pride in sending me some pixels where the soldiers from Bloch Regiment of Pakistan are paying obeisance to last abode of Guru Nanak.
It is first time we share the photo of bomb Indian Air Force dropped on Kartarpur sahib. The Pakistan authorities have preserved the bomb and is on display at Kartarpur sahib. We have already shared the demolition of Kartarpur Bridge over the river Ravi which was bombarded by Indian Army. Here we also come across view of SGGS darbar where RSS goons have done mischief.
