SIKHS BEGIN TO WEAR SWORD LIKE A HINDU THREAD JANEO
The Sikh ideology is opposed to ritualism. Sikh is a religion of participation in life process rather than withdrawal or renunciation. Guru thus ordered his Sikh to keep arms with them to protect the downtrodden from tyrants.
