PLANES & PEOPLE

UK's Eastbourne Air Show

Coast or beach town Eastbournes Airbourne is one of the UK's largest free airshows. The show is supported well by the Royal Air Force and the other UK armed services. Eastboure also regularly attracts support from overseas, particularly the Belgian and Dutch air forces. As well as four days of flying displays, there are other events around Eastbourne including concerts and an impressive fireworks display.
Eastbourne is South of London on the coast of English channel.

It was a fantastic show of combination of the new and old. War ships of the times of World War II showed their aerobatics as also the latest ones. We are sorry our camera could not freeze the supersonic plans.

We found the air show is a special attraction for UK's aged.
Some pilots enjoyed making 'heart' symbol the others said 'V' stands for victory, some spread colours in the sky while some merely thundered after getting up and down. Then thee were people who stood on the roof of planes and then the plane was up-side down etc.

20 QUESTIONS FOR AAP

WILL AAM ADMI PARTY CLEAR ITS

STAND ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES?

These are the issues on which stand of the traditional parties of Punjab namely Congress, Akali Dal, BJP and Communists is well known. Every Punjabi however is curious to know the stand of AAP on these. We feel if the AAP is really honest and transparent party it should clarify it all. We hope its replies will make it clear whether it is like any other party or it is different: neat and clean.

1. How will you eradicate corruption in Punjab?

2. Because of the Central Govt rules giving subsidy to the neighbouring states, industry of Punjab is being forced to move out of Punjab. Will AAP give justice?

3. Do also consider Punjab as bi-lingual state? Will you give Punjabi language the status which is enjoyed by Gujrati in Gujrat or Tamil in Tamilnadu or Bengali in Bengal?

4. What is your view on the 'River Water Dispute'. Should Haryana & Punjab be given more water?

5. Would you like to give more powers to the states or the preset Union structure of Constitution is OK?

6. Don't you believe the Central Govt discriminates against Punjab while sharing revenue in states?

7. Census reports are giving a grim picture for Punjab. It predicts that Punjab will become a Hindi speaking state in 20 years because the growth rate of Punjabis is only 9% while Indian average is just double and Bihar is 28. Today the number of migrant workers in Punjab is 30 lakh. Would you still continue the Family Planning programme for Punjabis

8. The Punjab Legislative Assembly has passed a resolution in favour of Corridor to Gurdwara Kartarpur sahib in Pakistan. Or you in its favour or against?

9. Are you for Shromani Gurdwara Committee or do you it do be disbanded?

10. Do you also believe that Sikhism is an offshoot of Hinduism and is not a separate entity?

11. What is your stand of Kashmir issue?

12. Should we improve relations with Pakistan?

13. Was Operation Blue Star on Goldent Temple justified?

14. There is a heavy Central debt on Punjab. Should it be waved off?

15. Should the army recruitment be on merit basis as it should be the way it is going on where quota for Punjab is fixed?

16. What is your vision on the improvement of education in Punjab?

17. Should the students from other states have right to get admission in the medical and engineering colleges of Punjab?

18. What is your vision on the improve the lot of Punjabi farmer?

19. Will you withdraw Govt security to leaders?

20. How will you manage Punjab state which is always deficit of funds? Your vision.

I APPEAL TO THE VOTERS IF THEY FEEL THAT AAP STANDS FOR JUSTICE AND EQUALITY. IT SHOULD BE VOTED.

We are specifically observing the secret agents of Congress are hell bent on false propaganda. Out of desperation they are indulging into goebbelian lies. We alert our internet friends to remain cautious of the moves of the deadly snake called Congress. Remember it has left no chance to ruin Punjab. The Congress is almost dead in most places in India but the venomous snake is still rattling in Punjab. A strong hit on its ugly head will once for all liberate Punjabis of the evil force.

THE BLESSED & UNFORTUNATE GIRLS

At Trafalgar Square London we found that a group of Turkish girls were the centre of attraction there. These Muslim girls had turbans over their heads. Then have a look at the gori salesgirl of the shoe store. She had a beautiful joora the hair bun and looked attractive. But this girl was no exception because about 10% of the London girls roll their hair into joora. While on the other hand unfortunate girls in some Sikh families feel that their beauty can only find expression if they trimmed their hair. These girls stand deprived of the 'Charhdi kala' blessing of Guru. Mind it hair is not every thing but that shows how seriously devoted we are to the 'Nirmal Panth' of Guru Nanak.

My question is if a non-Sikh can make turban as a fashion why our own girls are shy to wear it. Surely there is something wrong with their psyche. Perhaps they are not aware of benefits of following the faith. Please mind it for now, "WAHEGURU IS THE GUARANTEE TO CHARHDI KALA THE HIGH SPIRITED LIFE. So choice is yours.

ਜੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਗੁੰਜਾਇਸ਼ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਬਤ ਸੂਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਵਾਧੂ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ। ਲੰਡਨ ਦੇ ਤਰਫਲਗਾਰ ਚੌਂਕ ਵਿਚ ਅਸੀ ਤੁਰਕੀ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਢਾਣੀ ਵੇਖੀ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਦਸਤਾਰਾਂ ਸਜਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਾਹੋ ਜਲਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪੱਗ ਬੰਨੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪੱਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਉਲਟ ਸੀ। ਆਪਾਂ ਲੜ ਪਿਛੇ ਟੰਗਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਓਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੜ ਅਗਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੀ।ਫਿਰ ਦੇਖੋ ਸ਼ੂ ਸਟੋਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਲਜ ਗਰਲ ਦਾ ਜੂੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਨਹੀ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਕਿ ਲੰਡਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਸਾਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕੋਈ 10% ਔਰਤਾਂ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਜੂੜਾ ਸਜਾਉਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਪਰ ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਸਮਝਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਓਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਿਖਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਾ ਮੁੰਨਣ। ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੀਆਂ ਇਹੋ ਅਖੌਤੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਜਾ ਅਰਦਾਸਾਂ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਕਿਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਅਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ। ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੋਚ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦੈ। ਕੀ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਜੇ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਕੜਮਬਾਜੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਮੰਨ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਕਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਧਰਮ 'ਚ ਚਲਣ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਇਹ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੰਦਾ ਫਿਕਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਡਲਕਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਖੁੱਦ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ। ਬਸ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰੋ। ਭਾਈ ਮੈਂ 63 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੰਡਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਗਰਬ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਰੂਪ ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਖਸ਼ਸ਼ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਧੰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ।
